Flexible, precision-fit connecting hose between the original airbox and Dellorto carburetor of the Italjet Formula 125 twin-cylinder.
Our specially developed connecting hose replaces the original rubber hose located between the air filter box (airbox) and the carburetor on the Italjet Formula 125cc twin-cylinder.
On older scooters, original rubber hoses can become brittle, hardened or cracked over time, affecting the connection between the airbox and carburetor.
Our newly manufactured replacement hose has been developed using a 3D scan of the original component, with an additional improvement to the airbox-side inlet geometry.
Precision Fit Developed Using 3D Scanning
The complex shape of the original connecting hose was captured using 3D scanning technology and used as the basis for the replacement design.
This allowed the curved hose routing and connection areas to be reproduced for the intended installation position.
The hose is designed to connect the original airbox to the corresponding Dellorto carburetor on the Italjet Formula 125 twin-cylinder.
Optimized Funnel-Shaped Airbox Inlet
The airbox-side connection has been redesigned compared with the original geometry.
Its funnel-shaped inlet provides a smoother transition for air flowing from the air filter box toward the carburetor.
The revised geometry is intended to promote smooth airflow. No specific engine performance increase is claimed or guaranteed.
Flexible TPU Construction
The connecting hose is manufactured using 3D printing technology and flexible TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane).
The elastic material provides the flexibility needed for installation and helps the hose fit onto the intended connection points.
The TPU grade has been selected for the intended application, where contact with fuel and oil residues may occur.
Ideal Replacement for the Original Connecting Hose
This hose is particularly suitable for repairing or restoring an Italjet Formula 125 twin-cylinder when the original airbox-to-carburetor hose is damaged, cracked or missing.

Installation Tip
Tip: Gently warm the hose before installation, for example using lukewarm water. This makes the flexible material easier to handle, especially when fitting the airbox-side connection.
Do not use an open flame or overheat the material. After installation, check that all connections are properly seated and sealed.
Important Compatibility Information
This hose connects the airbox to the carburetor only. It is not an intake manifold or carburetor-to-engine rubber connector.
